The Restigouche River Watershed Management Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-Daniel Savard as Executive Director. Jean-Daniel, an engineer by training, is a graduate of the École Polytechnique de Montréal with a master's degree in water management and ecosystems. Passionate about sustainable development, the outdoors and nature, Jean-Daniel is motivated by the organization's mission to work towards the conservation of Atlantic salmon in the Restigouche River.

Jean-Daniel succeeds David LeBlanc, who will ensure a gradual transition of the organization's various mandates, contracts and partnerships.
